The local NHS is asking people to share their views about using health services in Liverpool during coronavirus.
From Thursday 17th September to Friday 30th October 2020 you can share your experiences about accessing \u2013 or trying to access – GPs, walk-in centres, hospitals, community and mental health services in the city since March 2020.
This could be either for yourself, for a family member, or someone you help care for.
Some of the areas being covered are:<\/p>\n

\u2022 How people have been getting information about using NHS services during the pandemic, and how communication about accessing services could be improved<\/p>\n

\u2022 Whether people have been able to access the care they needed during the pandemic<\/p>\n

\u2022 If people couldn\u2019t get the care they needed, what the impact of this was on their health<\/p>\n

\u2022 How different communities and individuals have been affected differently<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Your feedback can be about planned care and procedures, such as operations which take place in hospital, as well as more urgent care, such as same-day GP appointments.<\/p>\n

All the information received will be used to help improve the way that local NHS services are planned in the future.<\/p>\n

People can share their views by filling in a short online questionnaire \u2013 either online at: www.liverpoolccg.nhs.uk or by asking for a paper version of the questionnaire by calling: (0151) 247 6409, texting: 07920 206 386, or emailing: communications@liverpoolccg.nhs.uk.<\/p>\n

These contact details can also be used to request this information in another language or format, if required.<\/p>\n

The CCG is also planning a number of online events to talk through the issues in more detail and give people a chance to take part in discussions \u2013 further details about these sessions will be shared soon.<\/p>\n

In addition, the CCG will also be working with local voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise partners to gather the views of people across the city\u2019s diverse communities.<\/p>\n

Dr Fiona Lemmens, a Liverpool GP and Chair of NHS Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) said:<\/p>\n

\u201cThese pas\"\"<\/a>t months have seen the NHS facing the greatest health challenge in its 72-year history. Although the local health system has coped well with the extra pressures that coronavirus has created, we also know that changes to services have had an impact on patients.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to hear about people\u2019s experiences \u2013 both good and bad \u2013 of accessing NHS services in Liverpool during the pandemic. Whether that\u2019s GP appointments, a planned operation in hospital, maternity services, mental health support, community clinics, or the care that you receive in your own home – it\u2019s really important that we understand what worked well, and what might be better.\u201d<\/p>\n
