World Hepatitis Day takes places every year in July to raise awareness of and to support those living with hepatitis. Many people living with hepatitis do not know their status due to lack of knowledge and related stigma. Sahir House have teamed up with The Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospital Trust to deliver a training course to coincide with World Hepatitis Day in July to increase awareness and understanding locally.
Hepatitis B and C Awareness Training

HIV and Infectious Diseases Consultant and Lead Hepatitis Nursing Team
Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Teaching Hospital NHS Trust
This course aims to:
- Increase awareness of hepatitis B and C
- Increase a greater working understanding of hepatitis treatments
- Reduce related stigma
- Signpost to care and support for people living with, affected by and at risk of hepatitis
